The venues list
In the admin view, choose Venues in the sidebar. It lists every venue in the business, what kind it is, how many staff it has, and what it's connected to.
Each venue shows the POS and timesheet system it's connected to. A dash means it doesn't take one.
What each row shows
| Column | What it tells you |

| Venue | The venue's name, with a round F (frontline) or D (dependent) in front. See Frontline and dependent venues. |
| Active staff | How many active staff it has. |
| POS | The POS its card tips come from, as a green tag with the system's name. A dependent venue never has one, so it shows a dash. |
| Timesheets | The timesheet system its shifts come from, as a green tag. A dependent venue set up without timesheets shows a dash. |
Where a venue should have a system but doesn't yet, the cell shows Connect instead. Connect, or a green tag, opens the venue's Integrations tab. See Integrations.
Open a venue
Choose its name, or anywhere on its row. The venue opens on its Venue Profile tab, with its other tabs across the top.
A venue you don't have access to is greyed out, and hovering over its name says You don't have access to this venue. Ask whoever manages users in your business to give you a role there.
Find a venue
- Search venues narrows the list as you type.
- The two small buttons at the top right of the card switch between a list and cards. The cards group your Frontline venues and Dependent venues and show each one's staff, but not its connections. Tip Sheet remembers your choice on this computer.
Archived venues
Archived venues are hidden. Tick Show archived venues only to see them; each is marked Archived. Untick it to go back. The tick box only appears once the business has an archived venue.
To archive a venue, or bring one back, open it and go to the Danger zone at the foot of its profile. See Archive a venue.
Add a venue
Choose Add Venue at the top right. See Create a venue. If the button isn't there, your role doesn't include Create and update venues.
