Business profile

In the admin view, choose Business Profile from the menu on the left. It opens on the Basic details tab, under your business's name. If you also see a Subscription tab, you can manage billing; see Subscription and billing.

Business Profile on the Basic details tab: the Details section with the logo, ABN, address, email and phone, and the Billing contact section, each with an Edit buttonEdit the detailsEdit the billing contact

What's here

SectionContents
DetailsThe logo, business name, ABN (or NZBN for a New Zealand business), email, phone and address. The address is where invoices are addressed.
Billing contactThe person invoices are made out to, their email and phone. Tip Sheet writes to this person about the subscription too.

The logo heads the payout reports of venues that don't have a logo of their own.

Change the details

Each section has its own Edit. Choose it, change what you need, then choose Save at the foot of that section, or Cancel to leave it as it was. Only that section changes.

The Details section being edited: logo with Replace and Remove, business name, ABN, email, phone and the address fields, with Cancel and Save at the footThen Save

The business name is the legal name, as it's registered and as it appears on invoices. To change the logo, choose Replace under it, or Remove to take it off. The logo, the ABN or NZBN, and the unit, shop or level are optional; everything else is needed.

Changes to the name, address and billing contact flow through to your invoices, so this is also how you correct what appears on them.

If you start a change and then move to another tab, Tip Sheet says You have unsaved changes and asks you to Keep editing, Discard or Save. Closing the page the same way asks Leave without saving.

Who can change it

The business owner, business admins, and anyone given the Update Business Profile business permission. Everyone with admin access can see it; the two permissions that make that possible can't be removed. See Give someone access.
