A staff member's details

In Staff Management, choose the person's name. Full Profile in the ⋮ menu at the end of their row does the same.

Albert Einstein's profile, with the Employment, Personal details, Bank details and Performance cards

The profile. Contact and bank details are blurred in this picture; on screen you see them in full if your role allows it.

CardWhat it shows
EmploymentJob title, Department, Tip point and Status: what they earn a share as, and whether they're earning at all. Import date is the day of their first shift; it shows N/A unless the venue uses a waiting room. Activation date is the first day they earn tips here. Shifts before it count for nothing.
Personal detailsName, Email address and Phone number. Both of the last two are needed before you can ask them for their bank details.
Bank detailsTheir account, and a button showing its status. See Bank details.
PerformanceTotal earnings and Total hours, and their Personal bests: their highest tips and longest hours in a day. These count paid weeks at this venue only.

Back to Staff Management, at the top, returns you to the list.

Change their details

Choose Edit details at the top right. The cards become fields you can change, or at least the ones your role lets you change. A bar at the bottom says who you're editing.

The same profile being edited, with Cancel and Save changes in the bar at the bottom

Make your changes and choose Save changes. Cancel puts everything back; if you had changed something, Tip Sheet asks first: Discard throws your changes away, Keep editing takes you back to them.

You changeWhat happens
Department, Tip point or StatusTip Sheet asks you to confirm, then recalculates every recent week that isn't locked yet. Locked and paid weeks don't change.
Activation dateMoves the day they start earning. It can't be earlier than their first shift, and it can't reach back into a week that has been paid.
Name, Email address or Phone numberUpdates Tip Sheet only. It doesn't change your timesheet system, and your timesheet system won't overwrite it.
Bank detailsReplaces them for every venue the person works at, and sets the status to On File. Tip Sheet warns you first. See Bank details.
Job titleNothing but the label.

The Status list describes each status as you choose it.

The Status list: Active, Incoming and Inactive, each with a short description

Changing one shift, not the person

To give someone different tip points or a different department for one shift, change it on the tip sheet instead. Changing it here applies to every week that isn't locked.

Who changed what

The User Logs tab beside Employee Profile lists what has happened to this person's record, newest first. You need the View audit trails business permission to see it.

User Logs listing status changes, edits and bulk updates, with who made each one

Status changes show the status as Tip Sheet stores it: Master means Active.

It shows changes to their details and status, bulk changes to their department or tip points, and each time they opened a payout report emailed to them. It doesn't show bank details invitations, or anything the staff member changed themselves. For those, use Audit trails in the admin view.
